DARREN BOYD (Cooper)
Darren Boyd's first film role was in the
2001 British comedy HIGH HEELS AND LOW LIFES starring Minnie Driver and
directed by the British comedian Mel Smith.
Beginning in 1998, Boyd appeared in the BBC comedy "Kiss Me Kate."
Subsequently, he appeared in and wrote for the Emmy Award-winning "Smack
the Pony" as well as "Los Dos Bros," a mock social documentary
which he co-wrote and co-starred in. "Los Dos Bros" won the
prestigious Silver Rose at Montreaux in 2002.
Boyd co-starred opposite Julia Louis Dreyfuss
in "Watching Ellie" for NBC and appeared in the drama series
"The Jury" and the television film "The Legend of Tamworth
Two." He recently appeared on the BBC series "Love Soup,"
a new romantic comedy drama by David Renwick, and Channel 4's "Greenwing."
Other recent roles include a lead part in the new BBC comedy series written
by John Morton titled "Broken News," the Canadian television
drama "Regenesis," and the Canadian television comedy series
"The Jane Show," both produced by Shaftesbury films.
