All Saints Church at Putney Common

Filming for the wedding of Rachel and Heck took place at All Saints Church at Putney Common. I was able to arrange a visit to the church during my trip as the church is only open when it is in use. I want to say a special thanks to Carolyn at All Saints for showing me around and telling me some filming info. The wedding was originally supposed to be filmed at another church, but 3 weeks before filming was to take place the original church backed out after reading the script. The cast & crew spent 3 days filming there, leaving all the flowers used for the wedding for All Saints' Sunday service.

Doorway to the church. For filming, cabinets were built to cover the bulletin boards in the back.

Picture taken from where Rachel would have stood when looking at Luce as she walked down the aisle.

All Saints was built in 1873-1874. The church is famous for its stained glass windows, with most designed by Edward Burne Jones and some by William Morris.
